Under the auspices of the Tripoli-based Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, Libya 2020 (from 16-22 November) were launched today.
The week’s events this year are being held virtually for the first time due to the Coronavirus pandemic. More than 12 participating local entities, interspersed with a wide range of activities, such as seminars, conferences, workshops and virtual meetings, in the presence and participation of a group of local and international specialists.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week is organized annually in 180 member states of the International Entrepreneurship Network, with an expected attendance of more than ten million participants. This includes more than 40,000 events that celebrate the entrepreneurship sector and discuss the latest developments related to its development. These work to provide practical models and formulate solutions to challenges to achieve growth and development opportunities for this sector at the local and international levels.
During this week, the participating countries will organize and coordinate with local partners to present a package of targeted entrepreneurial activities, within the framework of growth and prosperity, based on the four basic topics of: policies, procedures and regulations, entrepreneurial systems, and education.
