On Wednesday, July 10th, GEN Nigeria launched its innovation and entrepreneurship hub “GEN Nigeria Enterprise Hub powered by SMEDAN’. The role & purpose of GEN Nigeria Enterprise Hub is to accelerate the successful development of MSME’s through provision and hiring of business resources and services
The hub was declared opened by Mr Femi Pedro, Chairman Governing Board, SMEDAN
The hub will offer young aspiring entrepreneurs a platform for innovations, taking their ideas to the next level and collaborations including high-level entrepreneurship training, timely mentoring and support during incubation stages of startups, free high-speed WIFI internet, meeting and training rooms, and venue for entrepreneurial events engagements.
Present at the launch is DG SMEDAN Dr Dikko Umaru Radda and Regional Head BOI Jack Kings, Chairperson GEN Nigeria Advisory Board, Hajia Aisha Abubakar (Former Minister of State Industry, Trade and Investment), and Mrs Nneka Okekearu, Deputy Director, Enterprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University.
The Director-General SMEDAN, Dr Dikko Umaru Radda highlighted SMEDAN's plans to duplicate hubs nationwide. This initiative is part of the agency's efforts to promote entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
