He was non-executive director of Science4you and Algarexperience and Mannaging Director of GEN Portugal.
Responsible for the creation and management of several business incubators in Portugal, namely Mafra & Ericeira Business Factory, Loures INOVA, Alvaiázere + and Startup Portimão. He assumed the duties of Director-General of DNA Cascais and Audax - ISCTE-IUL Entrepreneurship Center.
He was President of the Board of UPAJE (Union for Cultural and Youth Educational Action), which aims at valuing free time contributing to the individual and social development of those who participate in its activities in an educational and cultural way. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teclabs, at Faculdade Ciências, Universidade Lisboa.
Graduated in Finance by ISCTE-IUL and Master in Marketing Management. He also attended the Specialization Program in Entrepreneurship and Business Creation and the Audax-IUL Entrepreneurship Facilitators Course. He was at Babson College, Massachusetts and at the University of California, Berkeley, where he specialized in entrepreneurship and mentoring.
Lecturer at ISCTE-IUL, ISG and ISMAT where he teaches Entrepreneurship, Business Project and Finance. Developed the teaching activity in the TREPAN Program, an entrepreneurship program developed by the University of Craiova in partnership with ISCTE-IUL and in the COEUR - Competence in European Entrepreneurship program (Brazil and China). He also taught in international training programs, namely in Angola and Cape Verde.
