PROJECT ASSOCIATE INTERN
The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) seeks interns to work on programs to support healthier entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world in more than 180 countries.
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about every facet of the GEN organization and work with staff members located around the world. Examples of past projects conducted by interns include:
- Researching startup ecosystems and environments for entrepreneurs in select countries
- Event management support for GEN’s Flagship programs and other events
- Supporting operations for the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC); interfacing with entrepreneurship ecosystem builders around the world
- Aiding in outreach and community building for GEW / EWC Communications and social media support for GEN and its programs
- Preparing and supporting teams on the ground for their EWC national competitions.
- Collecting information and competition results
- Helping increase awareness and reach of the GEN brand
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current college student or recent graduate with strong academic record
- Passionate about entrepreneurship
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Independent worker, effective communicator
- Strong cultural and interpersonal skills for working with international team members
TIMEFRAME
Interns are expected to stay a minimum of eight (8) weeks with start and end dates flexible throughout the year. 40 hours per week are preferred but negotiable. Remote working. Apply now!
COMPENSATION
GEN is unable to offer compensation for its internships but is willing to work with students to obtain academic credit.
