Seedstars is excited to partner with GEN to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019. For already seven years, Seedstars has been organizing Seedstars World Competition which is aimed at finding the best tech startups in emerging markets and providing them with access to investment and learning opportunities. The competition consists of three main stages - local, regional and global. It starts with local pitching events in five key regions - Asia, Africa, CEE, Latam and MENA, where startups compete for a chance to win their ticket to the next stage of the challenge — the regional Seedstars Summit in the respective region taking place in November and December.

The event is open to everyone, and Seedstars invites tech leaders, founders and experts to join one of its regional Summits in Africa, Asia, Latam, CEE or MENA. The events will become a meeting point for more than 300 participants each, including startups, investors, mentors and corporates in various industries to share their stories, knowledge and best practices in tackling the most pressing issues in the region and globally. Also, at the regional Seedstars Summits we’ll get to know the names of the startups that would represent their countries at the final step of the Seedstars World Competition — global Seedstars Summit 2020 and compete with other 65+ teams for the title of the best startup from emerging markers and 500K in equity investment.
