Organizers of Global Entrepreneurship Week Events in Palm Beach, Florida are aiming to provide a “7-day showcase of cutting-edge technologies, disruptive startups and leading innovators” for the local community. The team behind this year’s GEW Palm Beach includes Palm Beach Tech, which hosted a successful Startup Weekend November 10-12 in partnership with TechStars and Google for Entrepreneurs, as well as the Florida Venture Forum, the co-working space Flamingo House, and many more.
There have already been a plethora of successful events held for the community, such as the Urban Youth Impact Pitch Night on November 14, Palm Beach Tech Pitch Competition on November 15, which featured eight local startups competing for a $12,500 prize to invest in their ventures, in partnership with the Florida Angel Nexus and the Florida Venture Forum, and various free events hosting by local coworking spaces like Social House, Flamingo House, and Palm Beach Tech Space.
Today, November 16, participants will be competing for $50,000 in prize money at the 2017 Florida VentureTech Showcase organized by the Florida Venture Forum. It will be an exciting day of close competition, networking, and presentations by some of the area’s leading startups.
Participants are also looking forward to taking part these remaining events on the GEW Palm Beach agenda:
