Sara is Cofounder and Executive Catalyst at ideiaLab, a Mozambican enterprise founded in 2010 with focus on inspiring entrepreneurs, developing Startups, accelerating SME and promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She has 12 year of experience in management, business development and financial management. She worked as an Economist for the Companhia Moçambicana deHidrocarbonetos, S.A, as Resources Mobilization Manager at Red Cross and as a Consultant for Deloitte and Touche. She is a Trainer and Mentor for FEMTECH, FAN and IBA. She has a Post-Graduation in Business Administration from INDEG-CEPPA (Mozambique) and Honours Degree in Economics from ISEG (Lisbon, Portugal).Sara is the current President of the Mozambique Business Angels Association.Sara is highly committed in supporting female entrepreneurship programs such as FEMTECH, Business M+ and Business in a Box.FEMTECH is a regional programme for women owed growth business. Business M+ is a support program to advance women entrepreneurs operating in the informal Economy and was HiiL Innovating Justice Challenge 2016 Semi-finalist. Business in a Box is a micro-franchising program for those who want to start and grow a business, especially young women and is one of the 54 winners out of more than 800 applications of the DREAMS INNOVATION CHALLENGE 2016.
